It's a battle of diminishing proportions as an animator's pencil does illustrative battle with a graphic pen in order to attain the affections of another pencil.
Who will win in the end? Does our hero have what it takes to outdraw the mighty pen? Or will he learn that it's what's inside that really matters?
Pen' Pals receives Honorary Mention
Pen' Pals screened at the Cinematou Enfant in Switzerland during Oct 28-Nov 05. Printed Rainbow by Gitanjali Rao (India) won best animated short while Pen' Pals and Peiti à Petit by Sabine Hitier (France) received honorary mentions!
Printed Rainbow and Petit à Petit both look like gorgeous films and I am humbled to be in their presence.
